Orange to Blueberry Dresser Makeover

I’m back from London! What a great trip, and we even went to Paris for a day, but I am so happy to be home!

A few weeks ago, I shared how much difficulty I was having with this chest of drawers. It is such a great piece, and I want to bring it to Secretary, to place in a guest room. Well, I finally finished it and am very happy with the result!

Here is the “before” pic. What a fantastic piece of furniture and I was thrilled to get it.

I used a few coats of Dixie Belle chalk mineral paint in the color, Blueberry. I sanded back the transfers that were just not my vision, and painted over those without any issues. The drawers were layered and blended with the color Drop Cloth and a touch of Driftwood. The whole piece was then waxed in both clear and brown.

I happen to love these vintage glass pulls that I have had in my stash for years, just waiting for the right piece to come along!
