Cottage Updates
It is nice and warm here in Secretary. The lilac is about to bloom, and everything is starting to come alive again (unless my husband cut it down last year - let’s not even go there)!
I’ve been SO busy in the kitchen! I have wallpapered, painted a ton and you can see it all below. The first clip shows what I have been busy doing for a few weekends, which is painting my kitchen cabinets in Sherwin Williams Emerald paint. It has built-in urethane and is perfect for cabinetry. I hope you like the color. It is hard to tell right now what my vision is!
We are also ripping out the old linoleum in the kitchen. It has a subfloor underneath and has left a glued-on paper mess behind on the original wood floors, which we would like to save. Sharing pics below for you to see. You can see how the floor runs in a different direction halfway through the room, which I kind of actually like :) Any suggestions on the best way to refinish these floors?
Have a fabulous weekend. What a gorgeous time of year!
